FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT

with three special presentations!

On February 18, 2024, Gurmat Center will be holding a very special program, consisting of three unique presentations and prize draws. This family night will help us understand the importance of the Khalsa’s Saroop/form. It will allow us to reflect on our objectives in life and hopefully inspire us to walk the Gursikhi path. WHO: Free and open to everyone!
WHAT: It consists of three presentations: the ਸਿੱਖੀ, ਸਿਦਕ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ (Sikhi, Faith, & Success Presentation), the Aagaaz Movie, and lastly, the ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਸ਼ਸਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ (Ancient Weapons Display). See below for more details!
WHEN: February 18, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM (Note: this program will be replacing Sunday Youth and Family Darbar on this day)
WHERE: Main Darbar Hall of Gurdwara Kalgidhar Darbar Sahib, Abbotsford (30640 Blueridge Dr, Abbotsford, BC V2T 5W3)
PRIZES? Yes! Youth in KG to Grade 12 who attend the event can receive a prize ticket, and prizes will be drawn after the movie is finished. Arrive between 6:30 - 7:00pm to get your ticket!

1. ਸਿੱਖੀ, ਸਿਦਕ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ

Sikhi, Faith, & Success is a presentation organized by Bhai Jagjit Singh of Khalsa Heritage Foundation. The presentation will show us the importance of faith and the Sikh Saroop.

2. Movie Screening of Aagaaz Movie

Aagaaz is a 3D animated short movie by Anaahad Media Productions. It follows the valiance and courage of Bhai Bota Singh and Bhai Garja Singh in keeping Sikh sovereignty alive against all odds.

3. ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਸ਼ਸਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ

The Ancient Weapons Display is also organized by Khalsa Heritage Foundation. You will be able to do ਦਰਸ਼ਨ of the weapons our Sikh warriors used to uphold righteousness and justice!
