Midterm exams for classes are fast approaching! In order to help students prepare, a practice/mock exam will be given prior to exams. Parents should help their children study by reviewing work that has been covered since the beginning of classes. Reviewing the practice exam will also prove to be beneficial to your child's learning. Parent-teacher interviews will be held from December 13 to December 17 to discuss midterm exam results and student progress. More information about the interview schedules will be provided in the coming weeks.
In this newsletter you will find:

As in the past, Gurmat Center will be having its holidays at the same time as public schools. This will allow for students to spend well deserved time with their families. We have changed the name of the holidays to "Shaheedi Diharay Break" to commemorate the immense sacrifices that took place during this month including that of our beloved father Guru Gobind Singh Jee, who gave His own father, mother and four sons for the sake of the Panth. Please remember that a holiday from school does not mean a holiday from God. Please continue to do your daily prayers and attend Sunday Youth & Family Darbar from 5:30 - 7:00 PM starting Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021.
