KIRTAN CLASSES

Age: Students must be in grade 3 or higher

Time: 7:10 - 8:10 PM

Duration: October to June
Fee: $420 (entire year)

Classes take place weekly

Start dates:

Level 1: Monday, Oct 7, 2024

Level 2: Monday, Oct 7, 2024
Level 3: Tuesday, Oct 1, 2024

Level 5 (Girls): TBA
Level 5 (Boys): Wednesday, Oct 2, 2024

Students will be provided several opportunities to perform Kirtan throughout the year at Sunday Darbar, Shaheedi Smagam, Awards Ceremony, and more!

DASTAR TYING CLASSES

The Dastar has a huge significance in Sikhi as it is a part of our identity. The Dastar is our Guru Sahibs' gift to us, men and women alike. Students in this class will learn how to tie a Dastar over the course of 10 weeks.

GATKA CLASSES

Gatka is an ancient martial art introduced to Sikhs by the Gurus to help defend the freedom of religion and human rights of Sikhs and non-Sikhs. It is considered to be a spiritual experience and a great form of physical exercise. Both these aspects of the individual are developed to a high level during participation in this ancient art.
