GUEST SPEAKER
Gurpreet Kaur is the BC Regional President of the World Sikh Organization. The World Sikh Organization of Canada (WSO) promotes and protects the interests of Sikhs in Canada and around the world and advocates for the protection of human rights for all. It also upholds civil liberties, irrespective of an individuals background. The WSO engages in media and government relations across Canada to ensure the Sikh narrative, identity, and lived experiences are articulated, understood and respected.
Gurpreet Kaur completed her B.A. in Political Science from Simon Fraser University and then went on to obtain a J.D. from Thompson Rivers University. Professionally, she is a lawyer, practicing in the lower mainland.
