REMINDER!
SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Dear Parents,
Gurmat Center will be continuing the Summer Reading Program for students, which is effective from Monday, June 10th, 2024 – Saturday, August 31st, 2024. During the summer months, it is important that students continue to practice what they have learned throughout the school year to sustain their Gurmukhi and Gurbani reading skills. For this reason, each student has been given a Summer Reading Log. Parents are expected to support their child(ren) to complete this program successfully. Please keep in mind that the teacher has the ability to hold your child back in the next school year if they are unable to keep up with the class.
Instructions:
1. Program Dates: Monday, June 10th, 2024 – Saturday, August 31st, 2024
2. Fill out the provided Summer Reading Record located at the back of your child’s Punjabi, Santhia, or Sikh Studies book (see example below)
3. Parent signature required daily
