Throughout camp, campers had a great time playing soccer, ready-ready, playing in the playground, and much more! Each day offered new challenges and plenty of fun, making for an enjoyable and active experience for everyone. During heat waves, campers enjoyed playing centers with their friends!

The last day of camp was packed with excitment for Sports Day! Campers and sevadars participated in fun games and challenges, showing their skills and teamwork. Campers enjoyed the friendly competition and the Q & A that followed. To conclude the camp, everyone was given their very own certificate.

Summer Gurmat Camp Water Day

An exciting water Day concludes the second last day of camp! Campers went through a number of stations, followed by the biggest water fight of the summer! After two weeks of creating unforgettable memories together, Water Day is the perfect chance for campers and volunteers to team up and give their teachers a splash of payback!

Summer Gurmat Camp ORA

Throoughtout the Summer Gurmat Camp, campers enjoyed a variety of outdoor recreational activities (ORA). This included playing in the bouncy castle, going on slushy walks, learning Gatka, and inspirational Sikh Videos. ORA was a agreat time for campers to have fun and be outside in the sunshine!

Summer Gurmat Camp Session 1 Sikh Activities

Campers engaged in a variety of Sikh activities during session 1, starting with a handcrafted Mala and personalized Dhaal. Inspired by Guru Gobind Singh Jee's blue horse, they crafted their own, while learning about its intelligence and respect for Guru Sahib. The session concluded with students designing Kalgi's, learning about their significance as they were worn exclusively by Guru Sahib, our King.

We were honored to have Giani Bhagwan Singh Jee as our guest speaker at the 80th GCY event. During the event, Giani Jee imparted teachings on the significance of giving Dasvandh, highlighting Guru Gobind Singh Jee's 2nd of 52 Hukams. We look forward to Giani Jee's next vist to BC so GCY Sangat can listen to their Katha again!
